Vithura. V. Asok (V. Asoka Kumar) was born on 25-03-1966 at Vithura, a remote hamlet in Trivandrum, the Southern-most District in India, as the son of P. Velayudhan Pillai and Kamalamma. He had his education as follows:- V. V. Daayini U. P. School, Valiyavenkadu (Primary education) 1971- 1978. Vithura Govt. High School --(High School education) 1978-1981. Iqbal College, Peringammala. (Higher Secondary & graduation). 1981-1987. Institute of English, Kerala University (Master's Degree in English Language & Literature) 1987-89. Mar Theophilus Training College, Nalanchira (Bachler's Degree in Education) 1990-1991. Institute of Distance Education, University of Kerala (Masters Degree in Public Administration) 1998-2000. He started official career in Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, Kerala in 1991and is now working as Administrative Officer in the Bureau. His wife Suja. P. S, M.A, B.Ed (an official in District Panchayath, Govt. of Kerala, Trivandrum) A. S. Aswin (Graduate in Mechanical Engineering) and A.S.
